Founding member pre-order terms

These terms cover founding member pre-orders from Pencilslip ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@pencilslip.com.

What you're buying

A pre-order for one year of Pencilslip, simple estimates and invoices for solo tradespeople, for a one-time payment of $29.00 USD. This is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically. When your year ends, you choose whether to continue at the price we offer then.

When it starts

Pencilslip is still being built. Your year starts the day early access opens, which will be by December 15, 2026. If we expect to miss that date, we'll email you before it with the new expected date and your choice to cancel for a full refund. If early access isn't open by December 15, 2026 and you haven't agreed to a new date, we refund you in full automatically.

Refunds

You can get a full refund for any reason anytime before your year starts, and within 30 days after it starts. Email hello@pencilslip.com from the address you used at checkout. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 business days of your request; your bank may take a few more days to show it.

What's included

The features listed on the pre-order page describe what we're building for early access. Features may change during development; if a change makes Pencilslip less useful to you, ask for a refund under the terms above.

Payments and your data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address, and payment status, but never your full card number. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information. Pre-order emails are about your order only; we send marketing emails only if you've separately opted in.
