Free window cleaning estimate template
A fill-in estimate for residential window cleaning: outside and inside glass, screens, tracks, and add-ons. Type it in on this page, then print it or save it as a PDF to send. The gray hints in each line are only suggestions and don't print.
Nothing leaves your device. Everything you type into the estimate stays in this browser tab. It isn't uploaded, saved, or sent anywhere, so refreshing or closing the page clears it. Save as PDF before you close it.
What a window cleaning estimate should spell out
"Clean all the windows" can mean outside only, or inside and out with screens and tracks. Writing down what you counted and what's included keeps quotes comparable and avoids a surprised customer at the end. A few habits help:
- Count what you priced. Say how many windows or panes you counted and how you counted them (per window, per pane, or per side), plus anything special like French doors, skylights, or large picture windows.
- Outside, inside, or both. Put outside glass and inside glass on separate lines, so the customer can drop the inside without a full re-quote.
- Screens and tracks. Say whether screens are removed, wiped or washed, and put back, and whether tracks and sills are vacuumed or wiped. Give each its own line if it's extra.
- Height and access. Note second-story or hard-to-reach windows, whether you use a ladder or a water-fed pole, and anything the customer needs to move or unlock before you arrive.
- What you can't promise. Hard-water spots, paint overspray, sticker residue, and scratches already in the glass may not come off with a normal clean. Note them up front, and if extra treatment is offered, put it on its own line.
- Recurring visits. If you offer quarterly or twice-a-year service, give the price per visit and how rain, rescheduling, and skipped visits are handled.
- Valid-until date and payment terms. Say how long the price holds and how you take payment.
For the longer walk-through (scope wording, exclusions, change orders, sign-off), see how to write a contractor estimate.
